What’s New in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Construction Updates, the CUTEST Christmas Ornaments, and MORE!
Welcome to our latest roundup of What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We’ll cover construction updates, new merchandise (including some ADORABLE Christmas ornaments), and more, so let’s get started on our photo tour through Hollywood!
Hollywood Studios Food Update
Let’s kick things off on Grand Avenue! At BaseLine Tap House, we noticed that the Exotic Margarita is still unavailable. They are currently waiting for the yuzu ingredient, so hopefully we’ll see it back on the menu soon!
Hollywood Studios Construction Update
Over near the park entrance, we didn’t spot any noticeable differences in the appearance of the Skyliner station. In case you missed it, the new gondola transportation system will open on September 29th!
There is still a large construction presence in the area before the entrance, near the security bag checks.
Hollywood Studios Merchandise Update
We’ve got several new merchandise items to tell you about!
First up, we found a Love Comes in Every Color patch from Once Upon a Time. You can pick up the colorful patch for $9.99!
Also at Once Upon a Time, we spotted some Mickey Gear keychains. They give us a bit of a Steampunk vibe!
A super cool thing about these keychains is that the gears on the ears spin! You can purchase these keychains for $9.99 each.
At Trolley Car Cafe we spotted some cute mug Christmas ornaments based on the popular new “Been There” mug series! While we’ve seen these mug ornaments before with the previously available “You Are Here” mug design, this is the first time we’ve seen this newer “Been There” design. (FYI — you can see the large Hollywood Studios’ Been There Mug here!)
You’ll spot some of your favorite park icons, including Jessie and the Tower of Terror! You can purchase one of these mug ornaments for $14.99.
In It’s a Wonderful Shop, we found some great new character ear ornaments!
We spotted Mickey…
…Stitch…
…a Toy Story alien…
…and an ornament inspired by Up!
These ornaments feel like actual miniature hats! In case you recognize the alien ornaments, we did see those on Sunset Boulevard in the past. You can purchase these ornaments for $14.99 each.
Dockside Diner Update
While we were near Echo Lake, we noticed that Dockside Diner’s water hose was working! It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen it working so we were happy we got to see it in action!
One Man’s Dream Update
Near the end of our walk around Hollywood Studios, we saw that One Man’s Dream is not currently showing any previews. This can change at any time, so keep an eye out!
As always, thanks for joining us on our tour around Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for even more news from the Disney parks and resorts!
