What’s New In Disneyland! Designer Ears, Disneyland Visors, Dreadful Shirts, And MORE!

Welcome back, friends! We’re here with another What’s New in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure (and Downtown Disney too)!

Pixar Pals Parking Garage

We’ve got the latest merch and construction updates for ya, so let’s hop right on in.

Downtown Disney Merchandise Update

Leading up to The Lion King‘s release in theaters last week, there’s been numerous themed merch items throughout the parks. While we have loved seeing every piece of merchandise, we spotted one of the best Rafiki quotes from the animated film in the World of Disney store. The Rafiki Tank Top is available for $29.99, and it makes us want to bounce on a few tree branches while wearing it!

With the debut of a line of designer ears and Mickey’s 90th birthday last year, it was only a matter of time before we had a Mickey Ear Hat honoring the creator himself, Walt Disney. The new Noah Ear Hat at The Disney Dress Shop beautifully showcases Mickey’s first cartoon, Steamboat Willie, with Walt lovingly looking on at his incredible character.

The Noah Ear Hat Is $48 At The Dress Shop

Whether you wear these ears around the park or put them on a special shelf at home, the Noah Ear Hat is worth collecting to preserve Walt’s memory and the mouse that started it all.

Downtown Disney Construction Update

Before heading into the parks for the day, we found out that the Monorail is currently closed between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM every day!

Better tighten those shoelaces, because we’re going on a walk through both Disneyland AND California Adventure without the helpful transportation of the Monorail.

Disneyland Merchandise Update

In addition to The Disney Dress Shop, the Noah Ear Hat is also featured over in Disneyana in Disneyland for the same price.

On Main Street, U.S.A., The Mad Hatter has another adorable hat you can show off on your next Disney visit. The Mickey Balloon-filled Disneyland Visor is $24.99. Now, you just need an actual Mickey Balloon to complete your outfit!

The Disneyland Visor

Tucked away behind Sleeping Beauty Castle, the Castle Holiday Shoppe is the perfect place for your Christmas in July shopping. Just like the ones we saw in Disney World, the Minnie Ear Ornaments have made their way into Disneyland for $16.99.

Minnie Ear Ornaments

We’re going to put the Cinderella Castle Minnie Ears Ornament right next to the Sleeping Beauty Minnie Ears Ornament on our tree this year!

Did you know it’s the 50 year anniversary of The Haunted Mansion in Disneyland? While there is a swinging celebration at the After Hours Event in August, you can stock up now on your ghoulish gear at Port Royal Curios and Curiosities.

I Never Lose My Head Shirt Is $24.99

Beware of Hitch-hiking Ghosts! Ward off any unwanted spirits with this Three Thumbs Up Hat for $27.99.

California Adventure Merchandise Update

To go along with the Minnie Ears Ornaments, there are Minnie Ears Earrings for $14.99 in Elias & Co! They’re sparkly (!!!) and can be paired with any outfit. You never know — we might be wearing them right now!

If Minnie’s your number one gal, just put on these Yoo Hoo Earrings and the matching Yoo Hoo Necklace to become part of her extended family!

The Yoo Hoo Earrings Are $14.99 And The Yoo Hoo Necklace Is $14.99

But we’re also equal opportunity fairytale fans. That’s why this Once Upon A Time Mug at Julius Katz & Son is the best way to start our day. We’ve seen this one in and around Disney World before as well.

Once Upon A Time Cup

Maybe some Starbucks coffee and a spoonful of sugar will make us feel like we’re in our own Happily Ever After!

Which Disney Princess castle is your favorite??

Rapunzel’s Tower, Snow White’s Cottage, Sleeping Beauty Castle, And More Are Featured On The Mug!

All the park exploring definitely made us hungry while we were in California Adventure. Before heading over to get an actual Mickey Pretzel, we picked up the Salty Hat at Los Feliz Five & Dime for $27.99… Which, honestly, made us even more hungry.

The Salty Hat

As we were leaving the parks for the day (with our pretzel in hand, obv), we saw that the Magic Way Pedestrian Bridge from the Pixar Pals Parking Structure is making some great progress.

Pedestrian Walkway Construction

We’ll definitely need this soon if the Disneyland Monorail is closed during the day!

Construction Progress On The Walkway

That’s all for this What’s New in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. We’ll catch you next time for more merch and construction (and maybe even some food) updates!
