Ticket Discounts on Disney Theme Parks, Water Parks, and Special Events! See How Much You Can SAVE!

Recently we shared a deep discount on Walt Disney World Annual Passes for Sam’s Club members, and dozens of readers and followers commented that they were able to save $260+ per AP with that money-saving tip. It now appears the discounted APs from Sam’s are no longer available — but the savings aren’t entirely over!

Sam’s Club Discount

In fact, the DFB team has uncovered not one but TWO paths to discounted tickets — and one is a little-known employment perk you might already have access to! Let’s see how you can save some money!

Sam’s Club Discount Pricing

We’ll start with Sam’s Club, which offered savings with their discounted Platinum and Platinum Plus Annual Passes over the past couple of weeks. At present, Sam’s is offering discounted prices on tickets to Disney’s water parks, After Hours events (including Villains), the Summer One World promo, and Florida Resident 3-4 day passes!

Discounts at Sam’s Club

We logged in to see the savings for Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, which differ depending on whether you purchase a One Day Water Park Ticket OR the same ticket with Blockout Dates. A standard ticket (with blockout dates, which are not specified in the listing) offers a savings of about $9 per ticket. The ticket without blockout dates is just over $11 savings per ticket.

Water Park Discounts

Much like tickets purchased directly from Disney, Sam’s Club also offers a base 4-day Disney Theme Park Ticket with add-ons, like Park-Hopper, Park-Hopper Plus, and Flexible Date. Savings on the base 4-day ticket are $43.87 per ticket. Savings with Park-Hopper are $48.01, Park-Hopper Plus are $47.01, and Flexible Dates are $37.34. (Click here to learn more about Flexible Dates pricing.)

Theme Park Ticket Discounts

Though the savings may be small for one person (barely washing out the $45 Sam’s Club membership fee), for a family of 2+, the savings could be significant.

Sam’s Club discount tickets are also available for Disney Villains After Hours. (Learn more about this event here!) Savings for this hard ticketed event are nearly $20 cheaper. Animal Kingdom After Hours and Magic Kingdom After Hours are also available for a discount of $20-$22. (Only select nights available for these events.)

Villains After Hours Pricing

Additionally, Florida Residents can purchase 3-day or 4-day Park tickets for savings of $9-$10. And the Summer One World ticket that already packed in some savings can be purchased for an additional savings of about $35-$40 (depending on child and adult pricing). (See more about the specific Summer One World promo here.)

Tickets at Work Discount Pricing

Tickets at Work is a discount program available through 40,000 corporate employers and roughly 60 million users (learn more about Tickets at Work here) — and it’s worth asking your human resources rep to find out if your company participates.

Our Insta-pal and reporter extraordinaire @valerieamarino shared these screenshots of discounts currently available via Tickets at Work. (Special thanks to @Tom_Bricker of DisneyTouristBlog.com for looping her in on this initially, too!) Each item lists possible percentage savings to give you a rough idea of how much you can keep in your wallet.

Tickets at Work Discounts

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, for example, works out to $8+ savings per ticket.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party offers an even larger savings — about $11 per ticket.

And finally: Annual Passes. The Platinum Pass has a potential savings of over $325, while the Platinum Plus Pass is $332+ off.

Note that these discounts are subject to change — or go away entirely — at any time. So if you’re interested, you should lock them in.

While these savings may not take all of the sting out of Disney’s current pricing models, they may help make your trips and participation in special events more feasible. And that’s a little bit more magical!
