The 10 Under the Radar Disney Food News Stories You Missed Last Week!

A lot went down in the Disney food world last week. So, we thought we’d fill you in on a few of our favorite stories that you may have missed in all the excitement!

From frozen treats like new sundaes and slushies to sour beignets and topping-covered hot dogs, there’s a lot of new and interesting treats to feast your eyes upon. So, follow along as we check them out together.

Cinema Popcorn Caramel Sundae from All-Star Movies

Popcorn fans rejoice!! When searching high and low for all things new at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, we found the Cinema Popcorn Caramel Sundae. Made of dulce de leche ice cream, this milkshake sits on a heap of caramel corn and caramel sauce! It’s topped with whipped cream, more caramel, and get this…even MORE caramel.

Party Parrot Slush from Isle of Java in Animal Kingdom

You’ll wanna shake your tailfeathers after taking a sip of the new Party Parrot Slush. The concoction, which is available at Isle of Java, is a mix of Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, with layers of blue raspberry, lemonade, and cherry slushies.

Surfing Stitch Cupcake from All-Star Sports

You can totally hang loose with Stitch by catching a wave over to Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. Here, you’ll find the Surfing Stitch Cupcake, which is pretty similar to the Stitch cupcake we’ve seen before. But this time it’s a bit more radical dude!

This is a yellow cupcake filled with raspberry chocolate ganache. It’s topped with a blue raspberry buttercream, blue candy pearls, and a white chocolate surfing Stitch! You can find it at the All-Star Sports End Zone Food Court for $5.99. You can also purchase it by redeeming a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. A SECRET Menu in Epcot

Did you hear the news?! There’s a NEW secret menu over at Monsieur Paul in the France Pavilion at Epcot. This prix fixe menu, known as the Summer Special Discovery Menu, starts with a House Cocktail and an Amuse-Boche. From there, you get three luxurious courses.

Hollywood Studios Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Menus Released

Did you hear???? Walt Disney World Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge menus were FINALLY released!

We also popped over to Chef Mickey’s this week so that we could give you guys an updated review!

We decided to stop by for brunch so we could eat breakfast items like Donuts, Mickey Waffles, Eggs, and Bacon, along with more lunchy foods like Carved Turkey, Smoked Salmon, Salad, and Mac and Cheese.

Sour Cherry Beignets from Mint Julep Bar

Can you believe it?! Sour, yes, SOUR Cherry Beignets have made their way to the Mint Julep Bar in Disneyland. This twist on a traditional beignet is covered in a pinkish-red powder that reminded us of Fun Dip Candy.

These can be purchased as a 3-pack for $5.49 or a 6-pack for $9.60. Not gonna lie…these weren’t what we were expecting. AT. ALL. So, make sure you read our full review on them here to see if they’re a hit or miss! 

Chicago-Inspired Hot Dog from Award Wieners

Calling all hot dog fans! A new hot dog has been added to the Award Wieners evergrowing menu, and its ingredients play off a traditional Chicago-style dog.

The Chicago-Inspired Hot Dog is an all-beef hot dog covered in loads of toppings including mustard, tomatoes, onions, a pickle spear, sliced banana peppers, and celery salt. Orange Cream Lemonade from Schmoozies in Disney California Adventure

If you’re in the mood for a new drink then you’ve gotta get a look at the Orange Cream Lemonade from Schmoozies in Disney California Adventure.

The dream, which seems like it’ll be a creamsicle lovers…well…dream, is made with orange lemonade and sweetened condensed milk.
