Review: The Surfing Stitch Cupcake Has Landed in Disney World!
Surf’s up, dudes! We’ve got our wetsuits, our boards, and our…fuzzy aliens?
Experiment 626 himself is saying, “Hang loose!” with All-Star Sports Resort’s newest dessert. And, yes, the new treat is just as blue as our great galactic guy.
The Surfing Stitch Cupcake has caught a wave over to the End Zone Food Court! It’s a bit similar to the Stitch Cupcake we’ve seen before, BUT with an added Hawaiian summer twist.
The yellow cupcake is filled with a raspberry chocolate ganache and topped with blue raspberry buttercream, blue candy pearls, and a white chocolate surfing Stitch.
Just like Stitch’s personality, the blue raspberry icing on this cupcake is kind of tart! If you love sharp, fruity flavors, then you’ll most likely enjoy this treat. The ganache was very rich (in a good way!), and you could taste the raspberry all throughout the chocolate. Raspberry with chocolate is one of our favorite combos, so the filling was the best part for us!
The cake itself was soft, moist, and enjoyable with each sweet bite. The white chocolate and candy pearls were lovely finishing touches to the otherwise tangy cupcake.
Even though we enjoyed it, the dessert was a bit small compared to other cupcakes we’ve had at All-Star Sports. If you’d like to try the Surfing Stitch Cupcake, you can do so at End Zone Food Court for $5.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.
