REVIEW: The NEW “It’s A Party!” Sundae and Birthday Cake Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich in Disney World!

America’s birthday is almost upon us (two days, people!!) and we’ve already begun celebrating in our absolute favorite way — EATING!

It’s a Party Sundae

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor has introduced some delicious treats as part of the Independence Day celebrations!

First up, the It’s a Party Sundae ($7.99)! This waffle bowl sundae consists of birthday cake ice cream, topped with raspberry and vanilla syrup, red, white, and blue sprinkles on top of a piece of red velvet cake. The whole thing is smothered in whipped cream, and a cherry serves as the finishing touch. Talk about an epic sundae!

It may be a bit messy, but it’s TOTALLY shareable and fabulously patriotic!

Check out that red velvet cake!!

yes pls.

We also sampled the Birthday Cake Sandwich ($6.99)! Birthday cake ice cream (which, by the way, you can get at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor all month! Yesssssss!) is sandwiched between two sugar cookies to create this treat!

Birthday Cake Sandwich

We’ve gotta say, we were a bit bummed when our Birthday Cake Sandwich didn’t have red, white, and blue sprinkle cookies as advertised. Unfortunately, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor did not have the patriotic cookies available when we were there, and they aren’t sure if or when they’ll get them. (This has happened before with other seasonal treats — they usually end up getting the ingredients they need eventually.)

On the bright side, this treat is still completely delicious and festive! But if you really want a red, white, and blue cookie, you can head over to Main Street Bakery to grab one!

Overall, we loved the patriotic treats from Plaza Ice Cream Parlor! These will be available until July 31, so you can celebrate America’s birthday all month long!
