Recent Menu Additions at Disney World’s Skipper Canteen!
Skipper Canteen in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom offers guests a unique combination of atmosphere, food, and fun. With quirky servers and interesting bites, this is a great place to visit if you’re a bit of an adventurer when it comes to food.
And get this! The Jungle Cruise-themed restaurant has recently added a few new options to its menu. So, grab your binoculars and explorer gear, and let’s check them out together!
The first item we wanted to point out was the Pao De Queijo (which can typically be found at the Brazil booth during Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival). According to Disney, this is a “gluten-friendly cheese bread from deep in the Amazon served with chimichurri cream cheese.”
A few Tropical Serenade Sangrias have also been added to the menu. These are available in three different flavors — Frosty Pineapple, Cerulean Blue, and Pineapple Passion Fruit!
The Frosty Pineapple drink is prosecco wine infused with pineapple and apple flavors. The Cerulean Blue consists of a Riesling white wine with hints of orange. Lastly, the Pineapple Passion Fruit is composed of passion fruit and pineapple blended with prosecco.
Currently, these offerings are not listed on the traditional menu, but according to Disney, they are available. Just ask a Cast Member and they should be able to help you!
