News! Tony’s Most Merriest Town Square Party Will Return to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom!
The first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off November 8th and we can hardly wait! The extra-ticket event held on select nights in Magic Kingdom offers unique entertainment like the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, A Frozen Holiday Wish, and much more.
Today, we discovered that Tony’s Most Merriest Town Square Party is returning to the festivities this year!
This party is an EXTRA extra ticket — yep, you’ll have to pay for MVMCP and THEN you’ll have to pay for Tony’s party on top of it.
The party begins at Tony’s Town Square at 9:30 PM and will offer a variety of desserts and savory hors d’oeuvres such as artisanal meats and cheeses, Tony’s famous meatballs, and more. A selection of complimentary beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for guests ages 21 and older.
And the cool part is that you can come and go — once you check in, it’s totally OK for you to nosh a bit, then leave to ride a ride or see a character, then return. You aren’t stuck at Tony’s from 9:30 on.
Tony himself strolls around and entertains guests on his accordion.
Then, at 11:00 PM, guests will have access to a reserved viewing area for Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.
And the party will continue until 12:30 AM, which is beyond the MVMCP’s midnight closing time, so you do get that extra 30 minutes at the event to nosh.
Admission to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is required to attend Tony’s Most Merriest Town Square Party, and tickets will be $99 per guest, plus tax. Reservations are available now and you may book this dessert party by either calling (407) 939-3463 or by visiting Disney World’s website.
So is it worth the extra money for a ticket AND the time spent at Tony’s party when you could be out enjoying MVMCP…which you’ve also already paid for? Um…maybe. There’s plenty of food available at the Tony’s party — and it’s not bad eats. If you were planning on spending some of your MVMCP time eating a full table-service dinner, then maybe it would make sense to do the Tony’s “come and go” party instead.
BUT, at a $99 price point…when I’d already paid a bunch of money to be at MVMCP in the first place…I’d probably just grab some counter service along the way and enjoy MVMCP for the evening without spending the extra money on this. That said, if you’re attending several Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties this year (I know there are a few of you out there who do that!), this could add a fun diversion for one of your evenings.
