Is It Time For Pumpkin Spice, Yet? This Kiosk in Magic Kingdom Says YES!
Westward Ho Refreshments is a small, permanent kiosk located in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland. It’s across from Prairie Outpost and Supply and just around the corner from Splash Mountain.
Though it’s small, the menu at Westward Ho has some big offerings. This is the home of Candied Bacon (for breakfast and lunch!), Corn Dogs, and a Sweet and Spicy Chicken Skewer. (See our review of the Candied Bacon and Chicken Skewer from their original location at Liberty Square Market!)
But today we’re after a cup of Joe! Cold Brew Coffee ($3.79) at Westward Ho has long had the option to add a flavored syrup ($.50 additional), with flavors including Caramel, Hazelnut, Vanilla, and Pumpkin. But on today’s visit, we noticed that Pumpkin syrup has been replaced by a Seasonal syrup.
Aaaaaand…in case you’re wondering, the Seasonal syrup at present is…pumpkin. So while it looks like Westward Ho is laying the ground work to start changing up their Seasonal syrup flavor, for now it’s the same-old with a new name.
Ironically, for a while now pumpkin has been unavailable (though still listed on the menu). Now that the designation has changed, pumpkin is back. Go figure.
So even though it’s ten million degrees (give or take a few) in central Florida right now, you can get your pumpkin on! Just, you know, ask for the Seasonal syrup add-in.
