Fireworks, Dessert Parties, and Nighttime Shows
If you’re thinking about watching the Happily Ever After fireworks and nighttime spectacular at the Magic Kingdom, add on the Happily Every After Fireworks Dessert Party!
The Happily Ever After Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant features special desserts, hot and cold beverages, and preferred viewing of the fireworks. It’s a great way to see the show and enjoy something special with the whole family.

Due to the popularity of the Fireworks Dessert Parties there is another dessert party that takes place AFTER the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom, called the After Fireworks Dessert Party (of course).
If you book this party you can watch Happily Ever After and then head over to the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant after the show ends to enjoy some yummy sweets and treats.

Over at Epcot you can catch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth until September 30 when this iconic nighttime show ends forever. While IllumiNations is still around you can enjoy the show at a waterside table at Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room with the Illuminations Dinner Package.

And then beginning on October 1, you can check out Epcot Forever — a celebration of the past, present, and future of Epcot.
Plus, don’t forget about the super popular Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party where you can enjoy specialty beverages and desserts, preferred viewing of the current nighttime show, and an after hours ride on Frozen Ever After in the Norway Pavilion.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios you can choose from three nighttime events: Fantasmic!, Wonderful World of Animation, and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.
If you’re making plans to watch Fantasmic! you can book the Fantasmic! Dining Package at select restaurants. This package includes a meal at Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, Hollywood & Vine, or The Hollywood Brown Derby and reserved seating at the show.

Wonderful World of Animation is the park’s newest nighttime projection show that transforms the façade of the Chinese Theater through unforgettable moments from beloved Disney films.
Star Wars fans will enjoy Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, the nighttime Star Wars show featuring projections on the Chinese Theater with music and fireworks. A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party takes place before Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular and features Star Wars-themed desserts and drinks.

After Dark at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom wasn’t always a nighttime destination, but once Pandora – The World of Avatar opened it quickly became a fan favorite place to visit after dark!
Even if you’ve explored the land of Pandora during the day you must visit again at night for the full experience. After dark the bioluminescent plants shimmer, flowers and trees glow, and the ground comes alive with an ethereal luminescence. You truly feel like you’re visiting another world.

Pandora isn’t the only nighttime fun at Animal Kingdom!
Beginning July 24 on select nights you can travel through Africa during the progressive dining experience — Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night.
And, guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom can also book a dessert party for the Rivers of Light – We Are One nighttime spectacular or a Rivers of Light Dinner Package.

Disney After Hours
Disney After Hours is currently held on select night at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
After Hours in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
At this separate ticketed event you can enjoy unlimited snacks (Mickey Ice Cream Bars and popcorn), bottled soft drinks and bottled water, character meet and greets, and shorter wait times at popular attractions. Each Disney After Hours event lasts three hours with the start times at either 9:00PM or 10:00PM depending on the date and park.
Guests with Disney After Hours event tickets can enter that park as early as 7:00PM with their Disney After Hours Ticket.
Remember that Disney After Hours is a paid event with a limited number of tickets for sale. It is different than Extra Magic Hours which are offered on select nights to guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or select Good Neighbor hotels.
After Hours in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
On select nights this summer through August 8, you can enjoy “Disney Villains” After Hours in the Magic Kingdom. This party features Disney Villains, special villain-themed eats and sips, and a new stage show “Villains Unite the Night” featuring Hades and Meg from Hercules along with Jafar, Dr. Facilier, Maleficent, and more.

Holiday Parties and More!
The Magic Kingdom hosts two nighttime holiday parties in the fall and winter — Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party takes place on select nights this year from August 16 through October 31 and includes trick or treating in the park, the Boo-ToYou Parade, a NEW fireworks show for this year, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular, specialty eats, and more.

Also new for 2019 is Cruella’s Halloween Hide-Away in Tony’s Town Square Restaurant. Guests can “indulge in savory hors d’oeuvres with a taste from the Witches Cauldron—a kettle of gooey and creamy spinach dip with ciabatta crostini, assorted Halloween flatbreads and more.”
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place this year on select nights from November 8 until December 22, and includes the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, and new holiday fireworks hosted by Minnie Mouse, plus complimentary cookies and hot chocolate!

Of course, Disney fun after dark extends beyond the theme parks. Be sure to pick up a monthly schedule at your hotel’s front desk where you’ll find a list of activities including nighttime outdoor movies, S’mores making, campfires, and more.
