FUN UPDATE!: Redd’s Revenge Gets a Swirly REVAMP in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
There’s a NEW swirl in town! (Well, actually there are TWO!)
We loved finding the new lemon-lime Dole Whip swirl in Disney World recently, and now we’ve got two NEW swirls to tell you about!
Now at the Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland, the brand new Redd’s Revenge is being offered with strawberry and vanilla swirl or strawberry and chocolate swirl combinations!
While we previously reported that the float usually only comes with the strawberry dole whip and strawberry Fanta as advertised, the swirls are entirely new (and we LOVE them).
Although we preferred the Strawberry Vanilla swirl, the Strawberry Chocolate swirl was super yummy, too, and tasted like a chocolate-covered strawberry. You can get either swirl as a cup for $4.99 before tax, or on top of Redd’s Revenge float for $6.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.
The only issue we encountered with the swirl in a cup is that it melted IMMEDIATELY. We asked for 2 water cups and flipped our ice cream into them for easier eating. Parents, this hack is for you!!
Now, about Redd’s hat… . I bet you’ve all noticed that Redd’s famous (and oddly shaped) hat is missing in these photos. Well, according to a cast member at the location, Sunshine Tree Terrace is out of the hats for the moment. Meanwhile, you can enjoy a waffle cone wafer with Donald on it. Hellooo, handsome!
