DETAILS: More Attractions Affected By Epcot’s MASSIVE Transformation

Annnnnnd we’re back! Today, we have already shared that Epcot’s Character Spot is set to close temporarily on September 8th.  (Don’t worry — you’ll still be able to see your friends in new Epcot spots!)

We have also shared Disney’s plans for the closure of Electric Umbrella this winter. But now we are going to dive into even MORE closure and relocation announcements.

According to the Walt Disney World website, the following locations will be experiencing a few changes as Disney transforms Epcot. You can read more about Epcot’s transformation here! 

Mouse Gear

Mouse Gear is a massive merchandise shop in Epcot where you can find just about any piece of Disney merchandise. And “as part of the ongoing transformation of Epcot, Mouse Gear will move to a temporary home this winter while its current location is reimagined.” The temporary location and the official move date has yet to be announced.

Fountain View…aka Starbucks’ Home

Starbucks is also going to be moving to new spot for a while. Disney states,” as part of the ongoing transformation of Epcot, Fountain View featuring Starbucks will relocate to a temporary location in late Fall.”

Pin Central

Pin Central is going to operate from a new location as Disney works their pixie dust refurbishment magic.  And ultimately, “the Camera Center will close this fall to become a new home for Pin Central.”

Club Cool

Club Cool is where you can taste different fountain drinks from around the world — FOR FREEEEE! And according to Disney, “Club Cool will close on September 8, 2019. Club Cool will reopen in a new capacity at a future merchandise location.” Hmm… .
