Check It Out! runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Medals Revealed!
Can you believe that the Wine & Dine Half Marathon has been around for 10 years?! We ran in the very first one and it sure doesn’t feel like it was THAT long ago!
Well, it has been, and to celebrate, Disney has released the medals for this year’s events!
So, tighten those laces because we’re about to get this race started! The 2019 Wine & Dine Half Marathon will be celebrating countries from around the world.
For the very FIRST time, the Disney Fall Feast 5K will take place in Epcot. Don’t forget your Bare Necessities as you prepare to run around the world! And once you finish your long journey you’ll receive a medal featuring characters from The Jungle Book.
There will be a party in the U.S.A. as you run 13.1 miles around the Walt Disney World Resort. When you cross the finish line, make sure you take a piece of the pie, by snagging your medal featuring Mickey Mouse in his favorite patriotic gear.
Mush your way throughout the Disney Wine & Dine 10K to grab your Frozen-themed medal!
Grab your sombrero and get ready to fiesta your way through the Disney Wine & Dine 10k and Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon. When you’re done sweating out your pinata candy, be sure to grab your Three Caballeros finisher medal!
Your little ones will sing Hakuna Matata as they cross their way through the 2019 runDisney kids’ races finish line to receive their Lion King medal!
And we’ve got even more exciting news! Those participating in both the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon and Disney Two Course Challenge can celebrate a job well down with a weekend-exclusive Post-Race Party with an earlier entry time (which you can read all about here!). This will include rare characters and special 10th Anniversary entertainment. The ticketed event will kick off at 10 PM.
While most spots are filled and the races are sold out, according to Disney, “opportunities to participate in the 2019 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend are still available by running with a participating charity group or by registering through a travel provider. Get more information here.”
This year’s race will take place from October 31 – November 3, 2019. Which happens to be during the 2019 International Food & Wine Festival aka the most wonderful time of the year for Disney food lovers.
