10 Unique Disney Breakfast Options You NEED On Your List!

Breakfast is one of our absolute favorite meals to enjoy at the Disney parks — along with lunch, second lunch, dinner, second dinner… . But in all seriousness, is it just us or does breakfast just seem to taste better at Disney World?

That’s why we’re counting down our top 10 most intriguing breakfast bites to get your morning motor runnin’. What’s on the menu? Let’s take a look!

1. Woody’s Lunch Box Tart in Toy Story Land

You sprinted to Slinky Dog Dash when Hollywood Studios opened, but now you’re ready to round-up some grub! Head over to Woody’s Lunch Box and wrangle up a Lunch Box Tart!

Raspberry Lunch Box Tart and Alien Swirling Saucers

Sold throughout the day, these little guys make a great dessert but do double-duty as a quick breakfast while on the move! The tarts come in Raspberry, Chocolate Hazelnut, and sometimes seasonal flavors — we’re hoping the Cinnamon Cran-Apple one returns in time for the holidays, and you’ll find Blueberry Lemon this summer!

2. School Bread at Kringla Bakeri in Epcot

When in Epcot, make a beeline to this Nordic temple of sweets! School Bread is the MOST delicious snack to work into your AM routine — a yeasty bread roll with a sweet, but not too sweet, custardy filling topped with icing and shavings of toasted coconut

If School Bread isn’t your jam, there’s a whole dessert case of fresh, delicious pastries to choose from! You can read our full review of the Kringla Bakeri School Bread here!

3. Roulé Lard et Fromage from Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie in Epcot

C’est délicieux! Early birds flock to the authentic French treats at this tucked away Epcot eatery. There are killer sandwiches, croissants, pastries, parfaits…the list goes on and on!

The Roulé Lard et Fromage from Les Halles is to die for with its warm, buttery roll and bits of bacon and melty cheese inside

Just try to get in before 10 AM as this rather smallish cafe gets a very long line quickly that tends to stay long throughout the day! You can check out our full Roulé Lard et Fromage review here.

4. Captain Cook’s Tonga Toast at Polynesian Village Cafe

Sure you can pay a lot more for the thick slabs of Tonga Toast stuffed with bananas and rolled in cinnamon sugar at Kona Café OR you can gobble them up for a less (less cash money — not deliciousness, that is) at Captain Cook’s, a quick-service joint just downstairs! We know which one we’d pick!

These are a fun hidden gem that can feed an army, so save even more money and share!

5. Pongu Lumpia in Pandora

Soaring with banshees worked up your appetite? Steer yourself over to Pongu Pongu for a Pongu Lumpia — a sweet pineapple cream cheese roll! This small but mighty morning snack will get you out of Pandora in one piece — hopefully!

Now some people don’t like these. And to that we say MORE FOR US!

6. Warm Colossal Cinnamon Roll at Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery in Animal Kingdom

How does a cinnamon roll the size of your head sound? Or maybe the size of Mickey’s head to be precise — since it’s Mickey-shaped, of course! The Colossal Cinnamon Roll from Kusafiri can quite possibly feed two very hungry people or even a small family!

Warm Colossal Cinnamon Roll — Cross Section

It delivers a good amount of icing and stays soft and yummy while you eat it unlike some cinnamon rolls in the past that got stale and dry as they cooled off. Look for it at the Animal Kingdom — you can’t miss it! Check out our full review of the Colossal Cinnamon Roll here!

7. Boardwalk Bakery Bagel Sandwiches at Boardwalk Inn

Near and dear to our hearts is The Boardwalk Bakery. Nothing says Disney vacay like hitting up this little spot for a hot sandwich before going to Epcot. The Everything Everything Sandwich is usually the one we gravitate towards but there are others to contend with.

Go every day and try a new one each time! Note that these do change out from time to time, so check back often!

8. Mickey Beignets at Port Orleans Resort, French Quarter

There’re a ton of good reasons to stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort. Reasons 1, 2, and 3 are waking up to the Mickey-shaped Beignets at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory! These deep-fried fluffy pillows of golden brown deliciousness are dusted with tons of powdery confectioner’s sugar and come in 3 or 6-piece servings. (The 3-pack is a Disney Dining Plan snack credit!) You can also request gluten-free or vegan versions for those with special dietary needs.

9. Sleepy Hollow Waffles in Magic Kingdom

A sleeper hit at the Magic Kingdom is Sleepy Hollow’s sweet Nutella Waffle Sandwiches. Their hazelnut spread and fresh fruit waffle sandwich might require assistance to finish — but we’re certain you’ll have plenty of volunteers to help you!

10. Breakfast at Roaring Fork in Wilderness Lodge

Our last stop brings us to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Roaring Fork has so many delicious breakfast options, you might just have to sample them all! There’s a Breakfast Flatbread with sausage gravy, pit ham, Western-style eggs, and cheddar cheese along with assorted pastries; 10-Hour Pulled Pork-Cheese Grits; Chicken and Waffles; and Bananas Foster French Toast to get you all ready for a day in the parks!

But our favorite option is the Loaded Mickey Waffles! Get yours with strawberry, chocolate, or bananas foster sauce…or all three!
