What’s New in Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Rainbow Donuts, Construction Updates, and TOY STORY STUFF!
We’re bringing you the latest of What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We’ll cover construction updates, a colorful new donut and a bunch of new merchandise.
Let’s dive right in!
What’s New at Hollywood Studios’ Skyliner Station
Near Hollywood Studios‘ park entrance, we snuck a peek at the Skyliner Station! This was the first time we noticed any lighting at the station turned on as construction continues.
The Skyliner Gondola System is scheduled to open sometime this fall, hopefully in time for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
What’s New on Hollywood Boulevard
Making our way down Hollywood Boulevard, we saw the continuing construction at Mickey’s of Hollywood.
The store is still closed and we noticed additional scaffolding and exterior work around the building.
Mickey’s of Hollywood is slated to be closed through September, but be on the lookout for updates from us on Mickey’s of Hollywood’s reopening date!
What’s New Around Commissary Lane and Echo Lake
Continuing our walk through Hollywood Studios, the walls between the Commissary Lane and Echo Lake areas now have noticeable scaffolding. The walls aren’t new, but the scaffolding certainly is!
What’s New at Hollywood Studios’ Joffrey’s Locations
Both Joffrey’s locations in Hollywood Studios have a colorful new treat on the menu! They have introduced super fun Pride Donuts, and they almost look too pretty to eat! Almost.
If you can’t make it to Hollywood Studios this month, we also spotted the Pride Donuts at Disney Springs!
What’s New in Hollywood Studios’ Shops and Stores
We’re moving right along to our favorite part – the MERCH!
At Celebrity 5 and 10, we spotted the adorable Dole Whip Float MagicBand! We had a hard time finding them while they were introduced as one of the MagicBands available for Resort guest upgrades, but they’re in stock now!
The MagicBand is a pretty pink color with a swirly Dole Whip Float on the back. Icons of other popular Disney World snacks cover the MagicBand as well.
You can purchase this pretty pink MagicBand for $24.99!
We spotted two more attraction-inspired dioramas at Celebrity 5 and 10 as well. New to us are the build-it-yourself dioramas based on Pirates of the Caribbean and the Enchanted Tiki Room. We love both of these iconic scenes!
We’d spotted dioramas for Mad Tea Party, Haunted Mansion, It’s a Small World and Splash Mountain previously, and they are still available.
Making our way to Once Upon a Time, we saw a bright green Toy Story shirt! This shirt features our favorite sheriff and Space Ranger duo, Woody and Buzz Lightyear!
We spotted a variety of fun merchandise at Beverly’s Sunset Shop, including this new Rainbow Unicorn Loungefly!
Based on the popular character from the film Inside Out, the backpack is complete with her characteristic rainbow hair and purple eyes. The Loungefly is currently priced at $80.00. She is SO CUTE and I think I need this in my life.

Continuing our treasure hunt in Beverley’s, we spotted new items from the Toy Story Harvey’s collection! A double-sided bag features Woody and Buzz Lightyear posters on either side and includes a character keychain set.
Both of the adorable Little Green Men Bags come with a spaceship keychain!
Wrapping things up in Beverly’s, we also saw some fabulous Toy Story leggings! These feature some of our favorite characters from the franchise, including Rex, Slinky Dog, and Jessie!
These and the new Harvey’s collection come in perfect timing for Toy Story 4!
Thanks for joining us on our tour around Hollywood Studios today! Be on the lookout for even more news from the Disney parks!
