What’s New at Port Orleans Resort: A Fun Summer Scavenger Hunt, Voo-Doo Chicken Sandwich, and More!
Today we’re bringing you a Port Orleans-themed What’s New! We’re big fans of the Port Orleans Resort and are excited to tell you about the latest the resort has to offer.
Starting things off at Port Orleans – Riverside, the Riverside Mill Food Court debuted its new Bo Peep Cupcake, inspired by the iconic Toy Story 4 character.
This one has a coconut and vanilla center.

Other treats in the bakery case include the Worms & Dirt Cupcake, the Cookies & Cream Cupcake, and Strawberry Cheesecake.
At Fulton’s General Store, we saw those super cute fans that are modeled after some of our favorite Disney World snacks.
With the hot days of summer quickly approaching, one of these adorable fans would offer a nice way to beat the heat.
Also at Fulton’s, we were pleased to find the Double Decker Bus Tin we recently spotted at Epcot!
Moving right along to Port Orleans – French Quarter, the Painting on de’ Bayou class is still taking place on Wednesday evenings.
French Quarter has also started a fun summertime scavenger hunt around the resort grounds. The hunt is based on popular Disney songs, and guests who complete it receive a prize from the front desk. Spoiler alert – it’s a button with cute characters from Princess and the Frog!
Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory recently brought back a guest favorite – the Voodoo Chicken Sandwich. This was around back in February with a different name, so if you didn’t try it then, now’s your chance.
This grilled chicken sandwich is decked out in mushrooms, onions, Swiss cheese, and Voodoo Sauce, and it’s pretty good! Next time you’re at Sassagoula, it’s worth a try.
Thanks for joining us through our walk around Port Orleans Resort! Let us know what updates you’re excited about in the comments.
