What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Oasis Canteen Is No More! PLUS Jessie’s New Meet and Greet Location and Forky’s Photo Opp…
We’re at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to bring you What’s New from this park-in-progress! It’s not a very busy stroll, but it’s got character(s)! Let’s go!
What’s New in Hollywood Studios’ Food and Restaurant Updates
Remember just a few days ago when Oasis Canteen was serving up loaded funnel cakes and cold beer? Well, today this snack stand has a new name: Epic Eats! Yup — just like that, it’s rebranded!
We gave you the scoop on the name-change in this post (click to read it).
Fortunately, the menu has remained the same: epic funnel cakes loaded with so much sweet stuff, you’ll need a sidekick to finish them! Note that these are easily some of the best uses of a Disney Dining Plan snack credit when it comes to value for your dollar!

Hollywood and Vine is now hosting Minnie’s Summertime Dine! This character buffet features a seasonal party hosted by Minnie Mouse. And now that it’s officially summer, Minnie’s celebrating the season!
At various locations around the park, we spotted some new-to-us packaging and portion of Mickey Shortbreads. The Shortbread Bus Tin is still available (click here to see it!), as are all the other sizes of Mickey Shortbread packs.
Pricing for the new package isn’t on the signage, but a cast member told us it’s $9.99.
What’s New in Hollywood Studios’ Construction
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Hollywood Studios on August 29, and we’re still trying to take a peek at the land from elsewhere in the Park. This is all we can see from Toy Story Land, but we’re pretty sure the domed structure on the right is the entrance to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

What’s New in Hollywood Studios’ Character Meet and Greets
Toy Story 4 opened this week, and unsurprisingly Toy Story Land has lots to celebrate! Jessie is currently meeting by Alien Swirling Saucers while Bo Peep (in her sweet new pantaloons) meets with Woody in his location.
She’s lasso-ing hugs and kickin’ up her heels with excitement to meet everyone!
And the new film’s breakout star, Forky, is hanging out in Toy Story Land, too! He’s behind some fencing, so he’s more of a photo opp than a meet.
But we’re loving the larger-than-life details.
Finally, it’s not a character meet and greet, but there’s a fun new Toy Story tee available at Beverly Sunset Boutique ($34.99).
And that’s that! Thanks for strolling with us! Stay tuned as we bring you TONS more What’s New this week!
