“The Lion King” Treats Have Arrived at The Mara in Animal Kingdom Lodge
Looking for another place to find treats in honor of The Lion King?
Then head over to The Mara at Animal Kindom Lodge, where today we spotted two classic treats with an all-new look!
The Mara is a quick service location inside Animal Kingdom Lodge that serves options like flatbreads, fried shrimp, and hamburgers. When stopping by today, we noticed that the Giraffe Eclair and the Kudu Cookie Sandwiches — which you can read a review for here — were sporting new Lion King decorations.
The eclair remains a classic vanilla eclair with chocolate icing.
The only difference is the incredible image of Timon, Pumbaa, and Simba on the top of it — a tribute made of white chocolate!
The Kudu Cookie Sandwich still features two tasty cookies surrounding a helping of sweet frosting, dipped in white chocolate.
The main difference is Simba’s chocolate mane (as opposed to the original chocolate horn of the Kudu) and the image of a lion on a white chocolate piece.
The Lion King version of these treats will likely only be around for a limited time… but hopefully at least until the new live-action version of The Lion King makes its debut in theaters on July 19th!
