It’s time for some chocolate — with a twist! — in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

And I mean that quite literally, as we’re checking out the Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist at Isle of Java on Discovery Island!

The Tiger Tail ($4.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit) is Animal Kingdom’s answer to the popular Cheshire Cat Tail over at Cheshire Café in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland.
Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist
It takes your regular chocolate twist and adds some colorful icing to reflect the cat in tribute. In this case, added orange icing makes up the Tiger Tail!

There is actually no flavor variation from the Tiger Tail’s orange icing to the Cheshire Cat Tail’s pink and purple (which is a little unfortunate, as it might have been fun to have a bit of a taste difference).
That said, the Tiger Tail still remains a chocolate lover’s treat, as the buttery, light and flaky pastry twist is positively packed with chocolate bits in addition to the chocolate icing on top!

By the way, for adults… we can highly recommend pairing the Tiger Tail with an Irish Coffee, also found at Isle of Java! For $10.75, Joffrey’s Coffee has the addition of Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey and is topped with whipped cream.
