NEW! The Lion King Drum Souvenir Bucket Debuts at Disney California Adventure (And May Be Coming Soon to Disney World!)

The new live-action Lion King film will be coming to theatres on July 19th…which is insanely soon since I feel as if I have waited for this moment for my entire life. And this year also happens to be the 25th Anniversary of the classic Lion King film.

So, you know what that means…Lion King stuff is popping up EVERYWHERE. We’ve seen Lion King treats, merchandise, and even a new show popping up between the two coasts for a while now. And today…we found another really cool item!

Thanks to our good Disneyland friend Heather Sievers (@DininginDisney), we noticed that the new Lion King Drum Bucket had made its way to Disney California Adventure.

Lion King Drum Buckets

Although Disney advertised this as a novelty popcorn bucket, we found it serving cotton candy inside! The Lion King Drum Bucket features a few really intricate carvings — including one of a lion of course.

The back features a sunburst. And both sides are made to look like actual wood…which actually makes me love it.

The super colorful and fun lanyard has both the sun and lion on it!

We found these at an outdoor vending location in Disney California Adventure, although Disney has announced that it will be making its way to Animal Kingdom along with a ton of other Animal Kingdom treats (many of which we’ve already tried) soon! Check those out here. You can get your very own drum bucket for $18.99 — while supplies last, of course!

Also, make sure you check out the new Lion King show that made its way to DCA today! View all the details here.
