Does the New Peanut Butter Dream at Magic Kingdom’s Plaza Ice Cream Parlor Live Up to Its Name?
Who doesn’t love enjoying some ice cream from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in Magic Kingdom?
From homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches to classic cones complete with Mickey Ears, it’s a quintessential Main Street stop.
But as classic as it is, it still turns out surprises. For instance, the Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor has just introduced a “dreamy” sundae…
Known as the Peanut Butter Dream, this limited edition sundae is peanut butter ice cream, hot fudge, and chocolate-chip peanut butter morsels, served on a peanut butter brownie!
It’s topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
This was everything we expected it to be…and MORE. Quite simply: it’s chocolatey peanut butter goodness.
We loved each aspect of it, but the best surprise had to be the little peanut butter cups that had been mixed into the ice cream for a nice crunch and extra flavor! And they didn’t skimp — there were a TON packed in there.
There is also an option to skip on the brownie and eat this sundae from a waffle bowl instead. But the difference is only 50 cents between the two (it’s 7.99 with the brownie and $7.49 without), so don’t skip it.
Note that the Peanut Butter Dream IS snack credit eligible if you’re a part of the Disney Dining Plan (though it’s not designated on the sign). HURRY to Magic Kingdom to scoop this sundae up as it will only be available for a limited time.
