What’s New on Walt Disney World’s Monorail Resort Loop: NEW Stroller Gear, Colorful Merch, and a Dole Whip Hack!
We’re hopping on the Walt Disney World Monorail Resort Loop to see What’s New at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Grand Floridian Resort, and Contemporary Resort. There will be rain coats! There will be cupcakes! There will be other new things! Please stand clear of the doors, and let’s glide!
What’s New at the Transportation and Ticket Center
Our first stop is the Transportation and Ticket Center where we browsed Mickey’s Gift Station. We found some seriously cool stroller and childcare gear!
Next to the selection of strollers for purchase are a Mickey Stroller Cover, Organizer, Diaper Bag, and Wipes Case!
The Mickey Stroller Cover bills itself as “universal”, and we’re pretty sure that means it’s universally cute as well as fitting on nearly all strollers. You can get this for $29.99.
The Stroller Organizer is a MUST for Disney trips and real life!
And if Mickey can make diapering more fun, we’re in for this Mickey Diaper Bag, too!
What’s New at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Now we’re zipping on over to the Polynesian Village Resort where Boutiki Gifts has the sweet Dole Whip Ears we posted about yesterday!
They’ve also got the Tiki Rain Coat, one of a few new must-have pieces of rain gear we shared recently!
And to store all of our new gear, Boutiki also has the cute new Mickey Loungefly backpack and wallet! See our post here!
And we can’t leave the Poly without mentioning this tasty little treat again: Lime/Lemon Dole Whip swirl from Pineapple Lanai! Check out this swirl hack here!
And FYI: Moana is still the seasonal cupcake at Capt. Cook’s!
What’s New at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
At the Grand Floridian, Gasparilla Grill‘s lovely pastry case has two seasonal cupcakes.
We reviewed this Mocha Cupcake yesterday. The coffee mousse is yum! See our review here!
And this mimosa-flavored Spring Cupcake is so pretty!
We also stopped into Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch because we couldn’t resist. We didn’t find any new menu items, but since we love eating here so much, we have to share! The French Onion Soup was delightfully cheesy.
And the Cobb Salad is a fresh, fun choice! The amount of bacon in the center is almost unconscionable.
We were surprised by the balance of richness and freshness in the Artisan-Made Spinach-Ricotta Ravioli.
And we skipped the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and waffle hack (see it here!) and LOVED the kale and fried onions that came with the dish!

What’s New at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
We stopped in to check on the merchandise at Fantasia Market and found they have an Americana display like others we’ve seen popping up all over the World (and Land).
Their display includes the plates, mug, picture frame, bowls, and more that we’ve seen elsewhere.
We also liked this red, white, and blue Mickey patch.
Over at Bay View Gifts, guests can find the Snacks Rain Coat we fell in love with a couple days ago.
Plus there are lots of fun umbrellas available, too!
And the “I’m here for…” buttons are also available here! Check out more of these colorful buttons here!
At Contempo Cafe, the Caramel Banana Cupcake is still in the case. Check out our review of this beauty here!
And the Briar Rose Gold Cake is also still in the case — and as lovely as ever! See how it tastes here!
And on that sweet note, we make our way back to TTC and say see ya real soon with another What’s New from Walt Disney World!
