Two New Disney World Experiences Now on Play Disney Parks App for Splash Mountain and Epcot Kidcot Fun Stops

We’ve spent more time than usual lately discussing the Play Disney Parks app due to how it will transform into your Star Wars datapad in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. But let’s not forget that the Play Disney Parks app features all sorts of fun right now, even before Galaxy’s Edge opens, to enhance the guest experience around Disneyland and Walt Disney World with games, trivia, the chance to earn digital achievements, and more.

The newest interactive features on the app pertain specifically to Walt Disney World for Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom and Kidcot Fun Stops around World Showcase in Epcot.

The Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Day gives guests the opportunity to play a series of mini-games themed to Splash Mountain. Upon completing the games, guests digitally receive special photo frames. While The Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Day can be played anywhere in Disney World, it will definitely “turn wait time into play time while waiting in line” for Splash Mountain!

Disney Kidcot Puzzle Hunt will give guests the chance to “embark on an interactive world tour to find physical jigsaw puzzle pieces throughout the Kidcot Fun Stops in all 11 World Showcase pavilions.” The digital reward for completing a pavilion’s puzzle hunt will be digital jigsaw puzzles and special photo frames themed to each pavilion.
