Celebrate Whiskey Week 2019 at Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs!

Morimoto Asia is celebrating Whiskey Week — which kicks off on May 19th, World Whiskey Day — with special events and more!

Forbidden Reserve Release Event

On World Whiskey Day, May 19, 2019, guests are welcome to Morimoto Asia for “a spirited celebration of Whiskey” at the Forbidden Reserve Release Event. Visit the upstairs Forbidden “Whiskey” Lounge from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM to “enjoy a wide range of rare aged and flavorful whiskey from all over the world.”

A dedicated menu of gourmet street food bites by Chef Yuhi Fujinaga will be available for $1 each! 20 unique bottles of whiskey varieties will be opened with 1/2 oz samples available for purchase (neat or on the rocks). Offerings will include Stagg, Elmer Lee, Old Van Winkle, and Booker’s 30th.

Guests can also expect to see representatives from Buffalo Trace, Beam Suntory, Old Forrester, and Heaven Hill who will share their knowledge and offer additional tastings from their distilleries.

No ticket is required for the Forbidden Reserve Release Event, but guests must be 21 and over to attend.

Buffalo Trace Omakase Event

On Friday, May 31st, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Morimoto Asia will host the Buffalo Trace Omakase which will present a five-course tasting event featuring a menu of rare whiskey and passed pan-Asian Forbidden Bites. Tickets will be available for $50 per guest, and will be available soon at this link.

More Whiskey Week Offerings

Morimoto Asia also shares that Whiskey cocktails and flights that come with an amuse bouche will be available from May 19th through May 31st for guests to order.
