This Year’s (Kinda DIFFERENT!) Margarita Cupcake Starts Tomorrow at Disney Sprinkles Locations!
Did someone say margs? Oh yeah, that’s right, Sprinkles totally did…again. And their margarita cupcakes are popping up in Disneyland and Disney World just in time for Cinco de Mayo!

Sprinkles has served Margarita Cupcakes in the past, but this year they’re being served with an all-new look!
Previously, the Sprinkles Margarita Cupcakes were made with Casamigos Tequila. Yes, George Clooney’s tequila. But, this year that doesn’t seem to be the case! Or at least that’s not how the cupcakes are being advertised.

So, this means that the cupcakes have seen a bit of a design change! Instead of having the Casamigos Tequila logo on top, the cupcakes now have a little candied lime.
They’re cute…don’t get us wrong. But our main concern is that these bad boys still have some sort of Tequila inside, outside, on the top, in the wrapper…wherever. We don’t care as long as it’s there!

In the past, the margarita cupcakes were Key Lime Cupcakes with Key Lime Frosting served with a Salt topping and Tequila brushed across the top! Read our full review here! Our fingers are crossed in hopes that the recipe has remained the same because this was one of our favorite Sprinkles specialty offerings!
You can start getting your cupcake fix…more like tequila fix(!!)…tomorrow at the Sprinkles locations in Downtown Disney and Disney Springs! They will only be served until Cinco de Mayo (May 5), which isn’t a very long time so hurry to get one!
