Review and Food Photos: Breakfast at Disneyland’s Galactic Grill!

Galactic Grill is a convenient counter service restaurant in Disneyland’s Tomorrowland. This spot serves up filling eats from morning until closing time, making this a terrific place to fuel up no matter the hour.

Galactic Grill

We stopped in for breakfast and sampled two distinct options: French Toast Sticks and the American Breakfast Burrito. Other options include a Loaded Breakfast Sandwich and Seasonal Fresh Fruit.

These two items were satisfying from the standpoint of filling up, but they’re definitely not winning any awards overall.

French Toast Sticks and American Breakfast Burrito

The French Toast Sticks are $7.99 and come with a small tub of maple syrup. The serving comes with seven sticks that are dusted with powdered sugar.

These were crispy and fried to dark golden brown. But for $7.99, they’re basically one dollar per stick (plus 99 cents for the syrup), and even while these work to kill the hunger, they felt overpriced.

The American Breakfast Burrito was better on all counts: more flavorful with some relative balance in nutrition and more appropriately priced.

American Breakfast Burrito

The Burrito is packed with sausage, egg, bacon, hash browns, cheese, and pico de gallo. That’s three sources of protein, a starch, and some fresh pico.

This was tasty, with the pico adding some freshness. We would’ve loved to have more of that to balance the savoriness, but we’d get this one again!

American Breakfast Burrito

The American Breakfast Burrito is $8.49 and worth the price. In fact, it’s hefty enough to share (particularly if you plan to snack throughout the day!), making it an even better value. Plus: it’s portable so you eat it en route to the all the fun! 😉
