Hollywood here we come! Well, Hollywood Studios that is! We found some new drinks, snacks, merchandise, construction updates, and signs that the park is almost ready to welcome Lightning McQueen!
But first, did you hear the biggest news of the month? Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is opening early on August 29 in Hollywood Studios! Read all the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening news here!
What’s New in Hollywood Studios’ Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
After the BIG opening day announcement, the first place we were headed was Toy Story Land to snap some pictures of the construction progress on Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

What’s New in Hollywood Studios’ Animation Courtyard
The recently opened Market is serving up some pastries and Joffrey’s cold brew coffee — until they sell out — in the morning during busy seasons. Joffrey’s is right next door, so if the Market does run out of coffee and pastries you can still satisfy those cravings.
The movie posters have been updated in this area as well. You’ll now find posters for the new live-action Dumbo and Disneynature’s Penguins in Animation Courtyard. Don’t forget, you can watch a special preview of Dumbo in Walt Disney Presents.
What’s New on Hollywood Studios’ Grand Avenue
We spotted a brand new hot dog cart outside the Muppet*Vision 3D theater. Just your standard Disney World hotdog here, but good to know if you’re in need of a quick meal.
What’s New on Hollywood Studios’ Echo Lake
Hollywood and Vine is now offering their seasonally-themed Minnie’s Springtime Dine. This character meal is replacing the, also seasonal, Minnie’s Silver Screen Dine and features classic Disney characters in their garden party best.
What’s New on Hollywood Studios’ Hollywood Boulevard
The Brown Derby Lounge has updated some of their beverage options.
The Martini Flight is now served with classic vodka instead of citrus vodka. They’ve also added several new drinks, including: Pomegranate Whiskey Sour, Old Fashioned, Paloma, Floridan Collins, and a non-alcoholic Kiwi Glitzer.
What’s New on Hollywood Studios’ Sunset Boulevard
The Beauty and the Beast stage show has reopened after a brief closure for refurbishment.
There are more “signs” that Hollywood Studios is getting ready to welcome Lightning McQueen to the park on March 31! Yep, the signs are up for the new Lightning McQueen Racing Academy attraction — check out all the details here!
What’s New at Hollywood Studios’ Entrance
There is some construction at the entrance area of the park. We’re currently uncertain what this will become, and no official announcements have been made yet. We’ll keep you updated as we find out more information!
Like the new bus stops and Skyliner station (you can read all about that construct here!) this structure also carries the Art Deco styling of the park entrance. Be sure to follow us for the latest updates and announcements.
What’s New in Hollywood Studios’ Shops and Stores — New Merchandise!
There’s a new Beauty and the Beast shirt that’s fit for a meal with a prince, with subtle sequins and an elegant rose design on it!
If BaseLine Tap House is your favorite place to relax and enjoy a beer, there’s a new t-shirt just for you!
