Sweet Treats and Entertainment Around Disney World for International Women’s Day on March 8
March 8th is International Women’s Day, and in honor of the occasion, there will be extra entertainment and specialty treats around Walt Disney World!
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom will feature the Sisters Soiree Dance Party in Tomorrowland with characters like Judy Hopps from Zootopia and Joy from Inside Out!
And for snacks, Strawberry Shortcake Shooters will be available at Cheshire Café and Westward Ho.
Hollywood Studios
Rey will be greeting guests alongside Chewy in a hidden Resistance base in the Star Wars Launch Bay!
In Toy Story Land, the women of the Green Army Patrol will march, and over at “An Incredible Celebration” at Pixar Place, the citizens of Municiberg will honor Super women in the city!
Though these are not limited to the day, highlighted treats will include the Mrs. Incredible Pretzel Mask at Neighborhood Bakery, Key Lime Pie Verrine at Backlot Express and Rosie’s All-American, Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake at Catalina Eddie’s, and Tres Leche at Fairfax Fare.
Epcot
The Voices of Liberty at The American Adventure will celebrate women with “special performances of empowering songs.”
Specialty treats will include a Purple Minnie Dome Cake in Fountain View, Purple Cupcakes at Kringla Bakery and Sunshine Seasons, Mascarpone Apple Cake at Akershus, Purple Troll Kreme Slush at the Norway Beer Cart, and International Women’s Day Cookies at Biergarten Restaurant.
Animal Kingdom
An International Women’s Day Cupcake will be served at Creature Comforts and Restaurantosaurus, while Tiffins Restaurant and Nomad Lounge will serve Infinite Ambition drinks and Sangria can be enjoyed at Tusker House and Dawa Bar.
Carts around the park will also be serving International Women’s Day Cookies.
Disney Springs
The Ganachery in Disney Springs will be serving International Women’s Day Dark Chocolate Ganache Squares and a chocolate Power Pinata.
A Pink Macaron Lollipop will be available at Amorette’s Patisserie.
