Review and Photos: NEW St. Patrick’s Day Cupcake at Walt Disney World’s BoardWalk Bakery!
BoardWalk Bakery at BoardWalk Inn and Villas is always ready with a seasonal cupcake, and right now they’re got a playful option that’s all dressed up for St. Patrick’s Day!
St. Patrick’s Day Cupcake
The St. Patrick’s Day Cupcake is chocolate cake, whipped vanilla buttercream, and a fun Oreo that’s been dipped halfway in green. The Oreo is decorated with a pair of gold-painted chocolate discs for Mickey ears and a yellow belt buckle.

The cake to frosting ratio is pretty amazing here, with about equal amounts of each. Seriously: that’s a mountain of frosting! It’s decorated with a few yellow pearls and lots of milk chocolate curls. (Check that condensation! Thanks, Florida heat!)

A cross-section shows a bit of cake propping up all that frosting and a sticky vanilla custard filling. It’s super sweet, making this cupcake share-able if you’re not as into sweet as, you know, some of us are.
