NEW Cake Flavor and MORE from the Disney Weddings Showcase!

If you’ve ever daydreamed about a Disney wedding designed by Fairy Tale Weddings (or if you just like to gawk at the gorgeousness and cringe at the costs…), our Disneyland correspondent Heather (hi, @DiningInDisney!!) is bringing you some serious eye candy (or should we say eye bling?) from her visit to the Disney Weddings Showcase! So let’s link arms and make our way down the aisle, shall we?

Sigh. Those are flower petals in stunning ombre filigree on the Magic Kingdom Lawn at Disneyland Hotel. And the prettiest Hidden Mickey in the history of Hidden Mickeys.

And the beauty doesn’t stop there. Once inside the reception space, the happy couple can opt for this storybook design customized with their names and featuring a sketch of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Of course, there can be more flowers — like this sample accent or centerpiece featuring hydrangeas, roses, and orchids in shades of white and blush. And don’t miss that embroidered napkin!

Table settings can be an elaborate affair with a floral centerpiece, a towering candelabra, smaller votive candles, and place settings that pull out all the elegant stops!

Those elegant stops include lovely dinnerware, linens, and personalized menus.

The cake at the Disney Wedding Showcase was, of course, a stunner! Four tiers with elegant sugar work — including edible flowers — it only looks simple!

And the Disney Wedding Showcase introduced a brand new cake flavor: Cotton Candy! Heather says it tastes exactly like the spun-sugar treat. At present it’s only available through Fairy Tale Weddings, but we’re crossing our fingers that it comes to the Parks, too!

It’s clear that Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings really put the fairy tale into the weddings, and we just want you all to know: we make exceptional wedding guests. We promise to order from your registry and dance appropriately and only ask for a couple of extra slices of cake. Invites?
