With the opening of the brand new Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy today in Hollywood Studios comes even more Cars-themed fun! DJ’s Ready! Set! Party Time! welcomes guests to a new dance party and photo opportunities in the Cars Courtyard directly outside the Academy.

He’s spinning tunes that set the high-energy scene for Cars-inspired dances and games in the courtyard.

Games for the kiddos include “Stop and Go” (like musical chairs, but with parking spots) and line dancing.

You can also get your photo taken with DJ, but note that you can’t move beyond the mat that’s been placed on the ground, and there is no PhotoPass Photographer here. (However, the Cast Member with DJ did take pictures with guests’ phones and cameras upon request.)
