TOP 9 Disney Dining Plan Quick Service VALUES for 2019!

If you’ve purchased (or acquired free!) the Disney Dining Plan for your next Walt Disney World vacation, you’re probably wondering how to maximize the Plan, getting the best and most satisfying food for your DDP dollar. The value of a Quick Service meal includes the cost, of course, but also the quality of the food and other variables like how it can save you credits, cash, time, or stress. We take all of those bits into consideration when we bring you our recommendations for DDP Quick Service values.

Here we take a look at eight of the best
Quick Service values on the Disney Dining Plan!

Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe — Animal Kingdom

Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe, located in Animal Kingdom’s Asia, is the quick service cousin of the Yak & Yeti Restaurant. This counter service spot offers menu items from a variety of cuisines including American, Chinese, Indian, and Korean. If you’ve got a group of picky and slightly adventurous eaters, this is a great location for you. The American Kobe Cheeseburger ($15.99) is the biggest bang for the buck here, with the Kobe Beef Hot Dog coming in just a dollar less. The Beso Del Sol Sangria comes in at $11, making this a Quick Service monetary value of $26.99.

La Cantina de San Angel — Epcot’s World Showcase

La Cantina de San Angel is one of the Mexico Pavilion‘s dining options in Epcot’s World Showcase. La Cantina de San Angel sits on World Showcase Lagoon. And you know what that means: IllumiNations views without an ADR! That’s part of the value here, but the food is also decent.

There are several taco options starting at $13, with the Tacos de Barbacoa coming in at $13.75. But the real stand-out price-wise is the Blood Orange Margarita on the Rocks at $15. That’s a total of $28.75, making this one of the biggest empirical monetary values on our list!

The Basket at Wine Bar George — Disney Springs

The Basket at Wine Bar George is essentially a walk-up window serving sandwiches and snacks comprised of slightly upscale ingredients like brie, ciabatta, and prosciutto. Plus, you can get a glass of wine (curated by Wine Bar George’s master sommelier!) and fun add-ons like cookies.

The highest priced items include the Speck, Brie, and Olive Salad sandwich on Baguette and the Ham and Gruyere on Ciabatta, both of which are priced at $14. The most expensive glass of wine is $15, making this a $29 value on DDP. Here you’re paying for quality, and it’s worth it!

The Polite Pig — Disney Springs

The Polite Pig in Disney Springs is just under two-years-old, and it’s made a name for itself with specially crafted meats, stand-out sides, and excellent salads! As a Quick Service Disney Dining Plan spot, The Polite Pig offers awesome monetary value! The Baby Back Ribs are $23, Cedar Plank Salmon is $22, and the Half Chicken is $17. The great thing about these three options is that you also get to choose one side — a value of $6 — to go with them (and the sides are king here!). Salads are a terrific value, too — $18 to $22 depending on the meat you choose. Add in a glass of wine at $12 and you’ve got a total of up to $35!

Seriously good Brussels Sprouts side!

Tangierine Cafe — Epcot’s World Showcase

Tangierine Cafe in the Morocco Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase is a perennial Quick Service value, and it’s also one of our favorite picks for best vegetarian Quick Service in Walt Disney World!

The most popular meat dish is the Shawarma Chicken and Lamb Platter which costs $16, but the Vegetable Platter is a solid monetary value at $14 and includes several distinctive items you don’t find much in the World. With cocktail ringing in at $9.99, this tasty spot comes in at $25.99 for the meat and $23.99 for the veggie — not bad values either way!

Satu’li Canteen — Animal Kingdom

This Quick Service locale in Pandora made its mark as soon as it arrived — with customizable bowls! Diners at Satu’li Canteen can select from options like the Combination Bowl (with grilled beef and chicken, $16.99) and the Chili-Garlic Shrimp Bowl ($14.99), then choose a base and a sauce! There’s also a terrific Crispy Tofu Bowl ($13.49)!

This is a great place to come if you want something other than traditional park food (you won’t find chicken nuggets on the menu here!), and because the bowls are large, it’s also a great place to share a meal (saving you a Quick Service credit you can use elsewhere). Add in a beer for $10.25, and you’ve got a value over $27!

Wolfgang Puck Express — Disney Springs

Like Tangierine Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace neighborhood in Disney Springs is a perennial favorite and excellent deal on the DDP! Quality eats like Oven-Roasted Salmon ($20), 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken ($16), Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf ($18), and Rigatoni Bolognese ($18) offer variety — and they’re super impressive coming out of a Quick Service/fast casual setting. Wolfgang Puck Express is also known for its tasty pizzas, so if you’ve got a picky eater in tow, there’s something for them here, too. With a glass of wine up to $15, WPE can come in at a whopping $35! That’s a value monetarily and qualitatively!

Flame Tree Barbecue — Animal Kingdom

Flame Tree Barbecue is another regular to our Quick Service values list — and that’s because the popular Ribs, Chicken, and Pulled Pork Platter ($18.99) is so massive it’s practically made for sharing. If you split it between two (or three!) diners, you can save a Quick Service credit to use on another meal, saving you out-of-pocket money later.

You can smell the smoker from Flame Tree from some distance away, and the meats are infused with terrific flavor. Occasionally you’ll find the meat a little dry here, so be aware. Add on a Mandarin Orange Lemonade Vodka for $9.75 and you’ve got a value of nearly $29!

Honorary Mention: ABC Commissary — Disney’s Hollywood Studios

ABC Commissary at Disney’s Hollywood Studios isn’t winning any awards for culinary excellence, but on a list of Quick Service values on DDP, it’s empirically strong. The BBQ Rib Platter here is $18.29, and they’ve got a Shrimp, Fish, and Chicken Platter that comes in at $15.99. A Watermelon Margarita rings in at $13, meaning you could get a meal valued at nearly $29 here! So you’ve got an opportunity for a good monetary value plus a variety of picky eater-friendly dishes, air conditioned seating, and a convenient location. There’s a lot going for ABC Commissary… if only the food were better quality.
