It’s BACK: the Magical Sundae Returns to Ghirardelli in Disney Springs!
Specialty treats come and go in the Disney Parks, and when Mickey’s 90th birthday party arrived in November 2018, Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop in Disney Springs made some frozen magic with the Magical Birthday Sundae.

But then… it was gone. For weeks. Until it then appeared at Disney California Adventure’s Ghirardelli location, rebranded as the Magical Sundae. Same great ice cream, hot fudge, and chocolate-dipped waffle ears, new name!
Mickey’s Magical Sundae is back!
And now: the Magical Sundae (a/k/a the Magical Birthday Sundae) has returned to Disney Springs! What a triumphant and delicious finale to this roller coaster of ice cream emotions!

The Magical Sundae still features those awesome chocolate dipped waffle cone ears — which we love to dip into the ice cream and hot fudge.

And it’s still a classic sundae done really well, with Ghirardelli’s rich, addicting hot fudge, some tasty whipped cream, and lots of colorful sprinkles.

Welcome back, sundae! Here’s hoping the Mickey ears remain a sundae option for the long haul — and we’ll keep an eye on the saga as it unfolds.
