Year in Review: The Disney Merchandise We HAD to Have in 2018!!
This year the Disney Parks put out some incredible merchandise, and we heard from TONS of you who wanted to add to your souvenir collections. Whether it was a spirit jersey, a Dooney bag, or a mug, you (and we!!) were alllll about that Disney merch life.

Here we take a look at the Disney merchandise you HAD to have in 2018!
Spirit Jerseys
Spirit jerseys grew in popularity in 2017, but when the Disney Parks introduced attractions spirit jerseys in 2018, it seemed like everyone and her brother wanted to get their hands on one! Luckily, they showed up on ShopDisney.com, so spirit jerseys under the tree for everyone this year! Favorites included the Haunted Mansion Spirit Jersey and the It’s a Small World Spirit Jersey!

Pirates of the Caribbean was another cool, stripey option.

And while the Tiki Room Spirit Jersey was a little controversial (some of you just could NOT with the color and the birds), it’s definitely spirited!

Disney Tails Pet Gear
Disney Tails exploded on the scene this year with merchandise for your furry friends! We loved the Disney parks- and characters-inspired clothing and pet gear! The Haunted Mansion clothing and pooch accessories were some of our favorites!

The lead featuring the classic Haunted Mansion wallpaper print was a must, as was the Madame Leota Squeeze Toy (which, if we’re being honest, we don’t want to let the dogs play with…).

And we looooove these Disney Tails Bandana Sets! Sets include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Haunted Mansion, and Star Wars Bandanas! Something for every pooch!

Mugs, Mugs, Mugs
Disney mugs are not a new collectible. In fact, every time we bring you the newest Disney Parks mugs, we hear from readers who say they couldn’t possibly fit another Disney mug in their cupboards — but they sure want to try! The You Are Here series from Starbucks is super popular, and now you can get yours without even stepping foot in a Disney Park!

Ears, Ears, Ears
Mickey and Minnie Ears have been around forever, but 2018 saw some of the prettiest and coolest versions yet! The year kicked off with the beloved Rose Gold Ears, which arrived in parks in 2017 but disappeared so quickly that we only saw them regularly in early 2018!
Rose Gold Minnie Ears were incredibly popular — and sold out numerous times — in Disney World and Disneyland in 2017 and 2018.
The next color in Minnie Ears trends: Millennial Pink!

These were followed by Iridescent Ears, Birthday Cake Ears, and Jack Skellington Ears. Yup, ears were epic in 2018.

And just last week these Potion Purple ears dropped in Disneyland!
Popcorn Buckets
Disney Parks popcorn is kind of a thing, with many of us insisting it’s just not a Disney vacation until we’ve got some. This year, popcorn buckets just got cuter and cuter. Toy Story Land opened in June, and Alien Popcorn Buckets were the must-have souvenir!

Disney Parks journals saw a bit of a hey day this year, with these three versions getting a whole lot of love on DFB! This planner is inspired by Carousel of Progress and helps you promise (maybe) to get things done — you guessed it! — tomorrow!
