Wetzel’s Pretzels Celebrates Grand Reopening of Flagship Location in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District
If you have a hankering for a fresh-baked pretzel the next time you’re in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District, you’re in luck! Wetzel’s Pretzels has reopened its flagship location after a lengthy refurbishment!
The grand reopening ceremonies included a DJ, “festivities,” and of course, PRETZELS.
The redesigned store features a “California-inspired design with an indoor-outdoor feel and a modern, upscale look.” Two local artists – Trek Thunder Kelly and Dan Medina – were commissioned by Wetzel’s to work on the design.
Kelly painted a mural inside the store that features Pasadena, the hometown of Wetzel’s, and 12 hidden pretzels! And Medina designed custom door handles that form a pretzel when the doors are closed.
When you stop by the updated Wetzel’s Pretzels in the Downtown Disney District you’ll find favorites including the full line of pretzels, Wetzel’s Dogs, Bitz, and more — all made fresh throughout the day.
And remember, even more new dining locations are coming soon to the Downtown Disney District including – Ballast Point Brewery and Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer!
