Personal Shopper Service Currently Testing at Select Disney World Park Merchandise Locations
With the holiday season upon us, many of us are thinking of what might be “that perfect gift” for a loved one. And the next time you visit a Disney World park, you might have access to a Personal Shopper to help you figure that out!

Today at Mickey’s of Hollywood in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we spotted this sign for Complimentary Personal Shopping services.

We learned that today is the very first day they are testing the Personal Shopper experience at Mickey’s of Hollywood. Currently, there are two Cast Members in Mickey’s of Hollywood who can offer suggestions for gifts or other purchases, and they can also help guests find other gifts available in the park via iPad.

But the process doesn’t stop there. If you are interested in an item, the Cast Member can pick up the gift for you if it’s located at a different park shop. Later in the day, you can come back to Mickey’s of Hollywood to purchase the item (or items) prior to park close. Or, if you wish to purchase something you see right away, they can have the item waiting for you at package pickup later in the day.
Today is the first day of a three day test, and it is not yet known if this service will be around for the rest of the busy holiday season, or perhaps even beyond. So, as always, stayed tuned!
