Photo Tour: New Exit for Magic Kingdom’s Space Mountain in Disney World
If your “Happy Space” is Space Mountain, then you’ll be seeing the recently refurbished exit on your way out of the Mountain the next time you conquer it in Magic Kingdom!

Since the refurbishment focused on the ride’s exit, the attraction itself has remained up and running. But now guests are able to wind their way out via the new exit.

The biggest change is that the speedramp which previously carried guests for a portion of the exit was removed, so you’ll be walking your way through the winding ramps.

And the brightened, lengthened pathway of the exit has a minimalistic design popped with “futuristic” light fixtures.

Color begins to paint the scene with an entirely new feel as you make your final steps.

But not everything has changed. For instance, you’ll still have the chance to pick up a few souvenirs on your way out into the gift shop 
!
