Alert, alert: a new flavor of Wine Slush has arrived at Walt Disney World! This is not a drill! Don’t worry: we’re here with the details. Cue the confetti! We also have a review of the beautiful, seasonal Apricot Peach Verrine dessert for you. (So many verrines this year.) It’s all part of the Holidays at Disney Springs.

You probably want to start with the wine, right? Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs introduced the world to the magic of Wine Slushies a little over a year ago, so we were pretty jazzed to find a new seasonal wine slush flavor on the menu: Cranberry Chardonnay.

The verdict? It. Was. Amazing. If you like cranberry juice, you’ll enjoy this. It’s fruity and quite tart, yet still nice and light – perfect for the warmer Florida weather! The Cranberry Chardonnay Wine Slush can be all yours for $9. Feeling adventurous? Have the staff at Amorette’s swirl it with one of their other wine slush flavors!

Let’s get to dessert, shall we? The Apricot Peach Verrine features buttermilk panna cotta, apricot peach gelee, and sugared almonds. It’s even topped with a fleck of edible gold! The Apricot Peach Verrine ($8) was part of Amorette’s WonderFALL lineup at Disney Springs, but it’s still here for a limited time.

Apricot Peach Verrine

While peach might seem like more of a summer flavor, this Verrine was a good fit for late autumn. You won’t find light, frothy, or zingy here. Instead, the buttermilk panna cotta was thick and creamy with a tiny hint of sourness, the gelee was sweet, and the almonds added a nice crunch. If you enjoy creme brûlée, Greek yogurt, and subtle peach and apricot flavors, you’ll love this treat.
