Cool Down with Shave Ice in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Last summer, you could find Shave Ice at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Harambe Fruit Market. Now it has made a return… just a little ways around the bend!

Just outside of Harambe Market in Animal Kingdom’s Africa (this is a full counter service location not to be confused with — and not to far from — Harambe Fruit Market) is where we found the Shave Ice Machine.

The printed menus weren’t yet on display, but flavors to choose from include Mango-Passion Fruit, Watermelon, and Pina Colada. These are returning flavors from last summer.
Fortunately, that option to spike your Shave Ice has returned too, and choices still include vodka or rum.
This is just another way to cool down in Animal Kingdom while the Jungle Juice Slushy is still missing from Mahindi. (Of course, if you’re really missing the taste of Jungle Juice, keep in mind that Dawa Bar still has the Ngumu Jungle Juice — currently spiked with vodka and peach schnapps — available to order.)
Because remember… even if the calendar says fall is soon approaching (and it’s already arrived in Magic Kingdom!), the Central Florida temperatures will continue to say otherwise for some time yet
