What’s New in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom: July 9, 2018
Hello, lords and ladies, and welcome to What’s New at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom! Summer is in full swing here, and with the changing of the seasons comes some seasonal eats, some fun merchandise, a bit o’ construction, and a moment of zen. Come along!
Magic Kingdom Menus & Eats
At Casey’s Corner on Main Street, U.S.A., the dog of the month is the Casey’s Classic. We reviewed this back when it was called the Breakfast Dog! It’s loaded with hash browns, cheddar cheese, bacon, onion straws, and a chipotle ranch drizzle.
Also on Main Street: pick up a Mickey Balloon Popcorn Bucket while they last!
FYI: Plaza Restaurant doesn’t have a featured milkshake this month, but they’re still serving their Butterscotch Bread Pudding!
Over in Tomorrowland, the Sno Cone Cart now has Frozone Sno-Cone Souvenir Cups.
For $8.00, fill it with the flavor of your choice!
Over at Cool Ship, pick up to Incredibles specialty beverages!
We shared our mixed review of these creative contributions to the Incredibles Summer!
At the Lunching Pad, the Mrs. Incredible Pretzel Mask now comes with cheese sauce. The Pepper Jack Pretzel, however, has blasted off for the time being. (Keep your eyes on the menu, though, because pretzels come and go here!) Keep reading to see where you can find the Pepper Jack Pretzel in the meantime!
Tomorrowland Terrace has improved the creativity of its menu options since our last, Spring Break visit. The Chef Salad is gone, but an Asian Salad with 5-Spice Pork, the Pulled Pork Banh Mi Sandwich we ate a couple of years ago, and a Lemon Blueberry Cake have been added.
At Pinocchio Village Haus, the Featured Flatbread is the Cheeseburger. It’s topped with ketchup, mustard, pickles, lettuce, tomato, ground beef, cheddar jack cheese, and bacon bits.
And don’t forget to stay cool at Storybook Treats with the fried Twinkie Sundae and Peter Pan Float!
Pepper Jack Pretzel Alert: you can find this tasty snack at Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland!
And while you’re in Adventureland, don’t forget to pick up your Cheeseburger Spring Rolls! They just returned to the Magic Kingdom, and they’re just as yummy as ever!
Magic Kingdom Merchandise
The world of Magic Kingdom merchandise has a few new additions. We like the sparkle of this new tumbler, which speaks the truth: If you need me, I’ll be in my castle! We found this at the Confectionery.
We also love this colorful Mickey Rainbow Sipper Cup, available at Pinocchio Village Haus!
To get on the Incredibles 2 merch bandwagon, snag these wooden dolls at the Art of Disney store in the Main Street Cinema.
Magic Kingdom Construction
Work continues on the Club 33 location in the Magic Kingdom!
Magic Kingdom Moment of Zen
