Chef Hung Huynh Named Chef de Cuisine at Morimoto Asia in Walt Disney World

Morimoto Asia has earned a reputation for phenomenal food and fabulous late-night fun in Disney Springs. With spectacular, quality eats like Japanese Wagyu Beef and Peking Duck, there’s just nothing like it anywhere else in Walt Disney World.

And now, Morimoto Asia has a new Chef de Cuisine — someone fans of cooking competition reality series Top Chef will certainly recognize. The restaurant’s Executive Chef Yuhi Fujinaga recently announced that Chef Hung Huynh has been tapped for the position, which will oversee all other chefs working in the Morimoto kitchen!

In his time on Top Chef‘s third season (eleven years ago!), Chef Hung was known for his frenetic energy and unwavering determination. Oh — and for his innovative food! He has finesse with many different cuisines and brings “fresh perspective” to the nearly three-year-old restaurant, Chef Fujinaga says.

We look forward to many more meals in this, one of Disney Springs finest restaurants, and wish Chef Hung all good things in the kitchen!
